The Work
The Lexipol Media Group's Strategy & Operations Team develops, launches, and manages an extensive portfolio of products in support of our award-winning B2B media brands and grants products. The Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building and optimizing products, experiences and growth strategies to grow and retain our audiences and marketing partnerships.


As the Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between our vast data landscape and impactful business solutions. Your focus will not just be on the technical side, but also on the application of your solutions in a real business context. The Data Analyst supports the work of the audience development, sales, operations, editorial, and product teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and deploy machine learning and advanced analytics solutions to the business.

Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and Diagnosing Metrics: Continuously monitor and analyze key business metrics such as sell through rates, conversion rates, customer acquisition, audience engagement, traffic and retention metrics. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement across product, pricing, audience segmentation, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and investigations during metric change events. Work closely with tech systems (i.e. Google Analytics, Naviga, Piano, TapClicks, etc) to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve reporting frameworks for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
  • Effectively communicate changes in metrics, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, operations, sales and product teams
  • Build and maintain interactive reporting dashboards and data visualizations that enable stakeholders to self-serve and access relevant information efficiently.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover actionable insights. Provide recommendations for optimizing business performance and ensure outputs are integrated into our products and processes, assisting adoption and being accountable to the business value creation.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and perform special analyses as required by the business to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, in digital media
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science)
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tapclicks) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R)
  • Excellent SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • To succeed in the role, you need to be a proactive, self-driven and impact driven person
