The Work

Lexipol is hiring a Director of Strategic Alliances who will be responsible for  working cross-functionally to implement strategic market development initiatives/programs that drive corporate growth through market saturation, product expansion, partnerships, and alliances. #LI-Remote

Role and Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy Strategic Alliance Plans that provide business development strategies, objectives, goals, resources, & timing required to drive demand in new and existing markets.
  • Build and expand strategic business relationships with key stakeholders, including risk management associations, public safety organizations, accreditation & training bodies and government leaders to build awareness, create ‘revenue enablement’ programs, and enhance customer retention within the market.
  • Manage ongoing partner relationships to ensure issues are identified and resolved and new opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Develop and negotiate contract terms and close strategic opportunities to achieve company objectives/revenue targets.
  • Organize and present detailed business reviews both internally with leadership and externally with customers and partners.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of detailed joint operating plans and processes including sales and marketing plans, contracts, customer service, and partner management.
  • Measure, interpret and report on key performance indicators including unit sales, revenue, costs, and saturation metrics
  • Gather and disseminate current and predictive market intelligence cross-functionally within the company.

Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • Command-level experience in a Public Safety agency, law enforcement or Fire Safety.
  • Experience working with RMA’s or risk pools in partnership or in leadership.
  • Proven track record meeting assigned sales targets in Business-to-Government and/or Insurance industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales presentation skills with demonstrated success in establishing rapport and long-lasting business relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen and ability to craft innovative solutions and problem solve.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software; SalesForce.com preferred.
  • Exceptional organization, time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
  • Willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent related experience is required.

Education and Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant SaaS Business-to-Government (Federal, State or Local) or Business-to-Business with emphasis in sales to the public safety sector and/or association experience is highly preferred.
  • Understanding current issues, legal decisions, practices, operations and concerns of the public safety community is a MUST.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and flexible PTO model.

On target earning potential for this role averages up to $200,000 annually.
