The Work
The Senior Director of Internal Software sits within the Internal Technology organization and reports to the VP of Internal Technology. This role is responsible for the strategy, governance, and performance of Lexipol’s internal technology ecosystem.


The Senior Director oversees the organization’s internal business platforms and software portfolio, ensuring the systems that power revenue, finance, marketing, operations, and cross-functional business processes are scalable, well-governed, and delivering measurable value to the business.

This leader is responsible for managing a portfolio of more than 300 technology vendors representing over $6.2M in annual software investments and more than $14M in total contract value across active agreements. The role ensures the organization is maximizing the value of its technology stack by driving effective implementation, strong adoption, platform optimization, and thoughtful lifecycle management across all internal systems.

The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership, Revenue, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure Lexipol’s internal platforms support operational excellence, strategic growth, and strong governance.

Key Performance Objectives:
  • Enterprise Technology Portfolio Leadership
    • Own the strategy, governance, and performance of Lexipol’s internal technology stack across revenue, finance, marketing, operations, and corporate functions.
    • Manage a portfolio of more than 300 software vendors representing approximately $6.2M in annual software investments and more than $14M in total contract value across active agreements.
    • Ensure internal platforms are aligned with business strategy, deliver measurable value, and scale effectively with company growth.
    • Establish governance and decision frameworks for selecting, implementing, optimizing, and sunsetting internal platforms.
    • Ensure tools across the organization are implemented properly, adopted effectively, and utilized to their full potential.
    • Partner with Head of AI and Head of IT to evaluate and guide the adoption of AI capabilities across internal platforms, ensuring AI-driven tools are implemented responsibly, provide measurable business value, and align with governance, security, and compliance standards.
    • Responsible for a department of approximately 10, comprising of Business Analysts, the Head of Salesforce, system admins, etc.
 
  • Technology Investment & Vendor Strategy
    • Lead the lifecycle management of internal software platforms including vendor selection, contract negotiation, renewals, upgrades, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
    • Partner with Finance, IT,  and executive leadership to optimize software spend and maximize return on technology investments.
    • Identify redundant or underutilized tools and lead initiatives to consolidate platforms and sunset unnecessary systems.
    • Drive continuous evaluation of the technology stack to ensure the organization maintains a modern, efficient, and cost-effective platform ecosystem.
    • Maintain standards and governance for software procurement, vendor evaluation, and lifecycle management across the organization.
 
  • Platform Leadership & System Governance
    • Provide executive oversight of key internal platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, and other business systems. Technologies involved includes: Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian Suite, Wrike, Pardot, etc.
    • Ensure strong governance, architecture standards, and operational discipline across all internal systems.
    • Partner with platform leaders to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
    • Ensure integrations between systems are strategically designed and maintained to support operational workflows and data accuracy.
 
  • Business Systems Optimization
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders across Revenue, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure systems effectively support critical business processes.
    • Drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency through automation, system enhancements, and improved platform utilization.
    • Ensure the organization is fully leveraging its technology investments to support growth and operational excellence.
 
  • System Data Governance, Reporting & Insights
    • Own data integrity, governance standards, and quality controls across internal software platforms.
    • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks that measure operational performance and business outcomes.
    • Ensure systems provide timely, accurate insights for leadership decision-making.
    • Lead initiatives related to data cleanup, deduplication, migrations, and mass data updates within internal business systems.
 
  • Compliance, Security & Audit Leadership
    • Lead the organization’s annual SOC 2 audit and ensure control owners maintain compliance with security and governance standards.
    • Establish processes and controls to maintain audit readiness and ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory and compliance obligations.
 
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Lead and develop a team responsible for managing and optimizing internal platforms.
    • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on technology investment decisions, system strategy, and platform governance.
    • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external technology vendors.
    • Lead change management initiatives during major system implementations, upgrades, and organizational transitions.
    • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI tools into internal technology operations and team workflows to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, and enable more efficient execution across the organization.

Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • 5+ years’ experience leading internal business systems or enterprise technology platforms in a complex organization.[AS1] 
  • 5 years’ experience managing large technology portfolios and vendor relationships.
  • Experience leading technology initiatives through periods of growth, change, or acquisition.
  • Experience operating within SaaS or subscription-based business models and supporting systems that enable revenue lifecycle management.
  • Must have personally led at least one Salesforce implementation.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms, marketing automation, and integrated SaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience managing large SaaS ecosystems with numerous integrations across CRM, ERP, marketing, support, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience establishing governance and lifecycle management practices for enterprise software portfolios, including vendor evaluation, procurement standards, and platform rationalization.
  • Ownership of enterprise internal technology platforms and complex software ecosystems.
  • Experience managing large-scale SaaS portfolios and vendor relationships.
  • Strong strategic and operational leadership with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Proven success optimizing software investments and driving operational efficiency through technology.
  • Experience negotiating enterprise software contracts and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise system implementations, migrations, or platform transitions that impact multiple departments and core business operations.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise software ecosystems.
  • Strong familiarity with modern AI productivity tools and a demonstrated ability to incorporate them into leadership, analysis, and operational workflows while guiding teams in responsible AI adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Experience:
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Experience overseeing Salesforce-based ecosystems.
  • Experience with revenue operations platforms such as CPQ, marketing automation (e.g., Pardot/Marketing Cloud), and customer lifecycle systems.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and integrations (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP platforms).
  • Experience managing or integrating collaboration and development platforms such as Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar enterprise workflow systems.
  • Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Experience using modern AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar platforms) to support operational analysis, documentation, and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with reporting or analytics ecosystems that support operational decision-making.
  • Experience overseeing compliance or audit processes such as SOC 2.
  • Understanding of security requirements for internal systems

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Base salary for this role is $190k, with a 10% bonus opportunity.
