Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead a dynamic team of Senior Account Executives (SAEs). This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on management, driving high-impact results in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this remote position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while fostering a collaborative sales culture. This position is remote.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Performance
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of up to six SAEs to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set clear expectations, and provide performance feedback.
- Create a positive, supportive environment that drives professional growth and team success.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Implement and manage sales strategies to align with recurring and non-recurring revenue targets.
- Guide SAEs in developing client-centric proposals and achieving sales objectives.
- Monitor and adapt strategies to align with evolving market trends.
Client Engagement
- Foster a customer-first approach to build strong, lasting relationships.
- Address critical client issues efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance on delivering personalized, value-added communication to clients.
Data and Performance Optimization
- Analyze team performance metrics and refine sales strategies to meet and exceed quotas.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance sales activity and optimize team performance.
Talent Development
- Mentor and coach SAEs to advance their skills and career growth.
- Conduct regular evaluations and set goals for professional development.
- Foster a high-morale, high-performance team culture.
Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Support product adoption and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales management with proven success in meeting quotas.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales models and/or public safety/government sectors (preferred).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform sales strategies.
- Experience leading teams in high-growth, results-driven environments.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $120,000 plus quarterly performance-based bonuses.
