The Work
The Lexipol Media Group's Media Advertising Operations (Ad Ops) Team works with companies targeting the public safety sector to help them market their products and services to first responders. Our customers provide public safety agencies and their members with the tools they need to keep their  communities and themselves safe and thriving.


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ad Operations Specialist to support the execution and performance of digital advertising campaigns across our websites and email newsletters. This position is ideal for a candidate with hands-on experience in Google Ads Manager, email ad trafficking, and collaborative campaign management. The successful candidate will help ensure that advertising campaigns are launched on time, run smoothly, and meet client objectives—while supporting the operational excellence of the Media Ad Operations team. This is done through working in these areas of focus:
 

Campaign Trafficking & Management (30%)

  • Manage display, video, and native advertising campaigns in Google Ads Manager (GAM) across all Lexipol Media Group properties.
  • Configure line items, apply audience and contextual targeting, upload creative assets, and ensure proper pacing and delivery.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance on all campaigns to ensure correct tracking, rendering, and functionality.

Email Advertising Operations (30%)

  • Manage ad placements within daily and weekly newsletters templates.
  • Test and validate formatting and tracking across various email clients and devices.
  • Coordinate closely with editorial and marketing teams to align placements with content calendars and send schedules.

Social Advertising & Promotion (10%)

  • Support paid and sponsored content distribution using Meta Ads Manager.
  • Coordinate campaign setup and tracking for boosted posts and sponsored ads.
  • Schedule organic and paid social posts through SocialFlow, maintaining consistency across platforms and verticals.

 Project & Workflow Coordination (10%)

  • Manage incoming ad requests and workflows through Wrike, and track order details in Naviga to ensure accurate trafficking and delivery.
  • Maintain alignment between systems for campaign specs, timelines, and creative requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, editorial, and creative teams to ensure all deliverables are in place for on-time campaign launches.

 CMS Management & Page-Level Targeting (10%)

  • Use Brightspot CMS to support ad operations needs, including adding and updating sponsor pages for campaigns and sponsored content.
  • Tag articles and content appropriately to enable custom key-value targeting in Google Ad Manager.
  • Ensure page-level metadata is accurate and aligned with campaign targeting requirements.
  • Collaborate with editorial and custom content teams to verify correct placement and display of branded or sponsored material across the site.

Troubleshooting & Optimization (5%)

  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively address any delivery or technical issues.
  • Adjust targeting, pacing, or creative as needed to optimize campaign outcomes.
  •  Coordinate with internal developers or vendors to resolve more complex issues when necessary.

Reporting & Analysis (5%)

  • Generate and distribute performance reports using data from GAM and email platforms.
  • Track delivery, engagement, and viewability metrics; ensure accurate UTM tagging and naming conventions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support ongoing campaign optimization.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in digital ad operations, preferably within a media or publishing environment.
  • Strong on the job proficiency in Google Ads Manager (GAM).
  • Working skill with writing HTML/CSS, particularly as it relates to email formatting and ad rendering.
  • Experience managing email advertising using platforms such as Delivera, Sailthru, Campaign Monitor, or similar to manage ad placements in newsletters
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at prioritizing & accomplishing your tasks.
  • Highly organized and has experience with project management systems such as Wrike, Asana, or Jira.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., editorial, sales, marketing) to launch ad campaigns.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities: skilled at managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience managing email advertising using platforms such as Delivera, Sailthru, Campaign Monitor, or similar.
  • Social media systems experience:  Looking for experience with SocialFlow, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Zoho Social, Salesforce Social Studio, Khoros, Agorapulse, Buffer, Emplifi, or Sendible.  We use Social Flow.


Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with content management systems, especially Brightspot, WordPress, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience monitoring in campaign performance reports, and using those reports to optimize campaigns
  • Experience with paid and sponsored content distribution using Meta Ads Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field

  • Maintain a campaign QA error rate below 1%, while consistently supporting optimization efforts that improve engagement and delivery metrics quarter over quarter

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

The base salary compensation range starts at $50,000 plus an annual performance-based bonus.
