The Work
Lexipol is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, positioning, and lifecycle management of our Policy product portfolio spanning software and content products. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of market strategy, product vision, and organizational execution. You will be accountable for driving portfolio-level growth and ensuring our products deliver measurable outcomes for public safety organizations across the country.

You will lead and develop a team of product managers and technical product owners, setting the standard for product excellence across the organization. This role requires someone who can operate confidently at the senior level — shaping strategy, influencing stakeholders, and building the organizational capability needed to deliver market-leading products. You will report to the VP of Product Management and serve as a key voice in product leadership conversations across the company.

What You’ll Own

Product Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Define and own the multi-year product strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, evolving market dynamics, and customer needs in the public safety sector.
  • Lead competitive intelligence, market segmentation, and customer research programs to identify whitespace opportunities and inform strategic positioning.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging frameworks in partnership with product marketing to ensure differentiated market presence.
  • Drive pricing strategy across the product portfolio, balancing revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning, with recommendations delivered to executive leadership.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and technical product owners, establishing a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, customer obsession, and continuous learning.
  • Define and uphold standards for product management craft across the team — from discovery and requirements to delivery and measurement.
  • Build team capacity and capability to scale with the organization’s growth, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Serve as a cross-functional leader who aligns engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success around shared goals and priorities.

Portfolio Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Own the strategic product roadmap across the Policy portfolio, driving prioritization decisions that balance near-term revenue impact with long-term competitive positioning.
  • Lead efforts around opportunity assessment, business case development, and ROI measurement for new product investments.
  • Identify and develop organic growth opportunities, including adjacent market expansion, new buyer segments, and platform extensions.
  • Support partnership evaluation and integration as a subject matter expert on product portfolio fit and capability gaps.

Product Development Oversight

  • Partner with SMEs, engineering and design leadership to ensure effective end-to-end product development, from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Establish standards for requirements definition, user story quality, and acceptance criteria across the product team.
  • Oversee alpha, beta, and pilot programs for new products and features, ensuring structured learning and feedback loops.
  • Define and govern the KPI framework for portfolio performance, product adoption, and customer outcomes.

Go-to-Market & Revenue Execution

  • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, marketing, and customer success to develop and execute go-to-market plans that drive new sales, expansions, and renewals.
  • Guide the sales and customer success teams on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and customer value narratives.
  • Align product launches and roadmap communications to revenue targets and customer satisfaction metrics.

What We’re Looking For

Required:
  • 10–15 years of SaaS product management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role managing product managers and/or product teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of defining and executing portfolio-level product strategy for B2B or B2G SaaS products.
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy, product positioning, and competitive analysis in a dynamic market.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to build business cases, define KPI frameworks, and translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Deep experience in Agile/Scrum product development methodologies and product management tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performance product teams.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into product strategy and/or technology products.

Preferred:
  • Background in public safety, government, or adjacent regulated markets.
  • Agile certifications: Agile Scrum Product Owner, Scaled Agile, or PMI-ACP.
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification.
  • MBA preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Portfolio revenue and customer satisfaction targets are met or exceeded year over year.
  • Your product managers and technical product owners are growing, delivering with high quality, and operating with increasing independence.
  • NPS scores and product KPIs trend positively, with clear ownership and action plans behind each metric.
  • Product strategy is clearly understood and championed across the organization.
  • You are recognized as a trusted strategic partner by executive and cross-functional leaders.

Why This Role

  • High organizational visibility — you will present to and partner directly with C-suite leadership on a regular basis.
  • A genuine leadership platform — you will shape how product management operates at Lexipol, not just execute within it.
  • Meaningful work — the products you build directly support first responders who protect communities every day.
  • A collaborative, remote-first environment with flexibility and core-hours availability across US time zones.
  • You will report to the VP of Product Management, who will serve as a champion and thought partner in your continued leadership development.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
