The Work


What the Team Does
The Internal Software team at Lexipol manages and optimizes the suite of internal tools and systems that enable teams across the organization to operate efficiently. This group ensures that Lexipol’s internal technology stack is reliable, cohesive, and continually improving. Through vendor management, software lifecycle oversight, and system optimization, the team drives modernization, automation, and data consistency across business units — ensuring every department has the tools they need to deliver effectively.

What This Role Will Do
The Business Analyst – Internal Software serves as the bridge between internal business stakeholders, IT, and the Internal Software team. This role translates business requirements into clear software and workflow specifications, manages system documentation, and oversees vendor and lifecycle processes. The analyst partners closely with the Director of AI Product and Automation and development team to identify and implement opportunities for automation, integration, and modernization. They ensure Lexipol’s software ecosystem remains efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. This role is 70% focused on finding the right solutions through requirements and analysis, and is 30% focused on ensuring that solutions are delivered effectively through planning, coordination, and execution

This is done through working in these areas of focus:

 Software Lifecycle & Vendor Management (20%)
  • Coordinate renewals, upgrades, evaluations, and deprecations of software tools across the organization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring Lexipol receives maximum value and compliance.
  • Manage vendor documentation, contracts, and renewal schedules in collaboration with IT and Procurement.
  • Track and report software usage, cost, and alignment to business needs.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation  (35%)
  • Meet with business departments to capture and refine requirements for internal tools and workflows.
  • Document system processes, data flows, and functional requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain an accurate and current company-wide software glossary and documentation repository.
  • Partner with IT and software developers to validate technical feasibility and design efficient solutions.
Process Improvement &Automation (25%)
  • Collaborate with the Internal AI Engineer to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies that enhance productivity or reduce manual effort.
  • Participate in planning and prioritization for internal integrations and tool enhancements.
  • Propose modern solutions to streamline processes and improve system cohesion across departments.

Communication & Ecosystem Oversight (20%)
  • Report regularly on the health of Lexipol’s software ecosystem, including renewal timelines and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all internal software initiatives are tracked, prioritized, and ready for development or review.
  • Validate delivered enhancements or system changes to confirm alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Software Coordinator, or in a similar role managing internal systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable software requirements and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, software lifecycle management, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience collaborating with IT, engineering, and business teams on system integrations and improvements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in documentation and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, Salesforce).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of system integration principles and automation tools.

Preferred Experience:
 
  • Experience managing internal software portfolios in a multi-department organization.
  • Background in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven automation or intelligent process improvement tools.
  • Understanding of data governance and system architecture best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

The base salary compensation range starts at $95,000 plus an annual performance-based bonus.
