The Work
Lexipol’s Grant Team provides customized service and subscription solutions enabling municipalities to tap into federal, state, and private grants. More than $600 billion in nationwide grants is available to public safety agencies and local governments each year. Few eligible applicants have grants experts on staff, or the time to research opportunities and develop grant applications.
The Grant Platform Analyst supports the Grants Platform Team by developing, maintaining, and optimizing GrantFinder. Reporting to the Manager, Grant Platform, this role implements tools, processes, and updates to enhance user experience and platform efficiency.
We offer three grant solutions: GrantFinder, our search tool; Grant Writing Services for individual projects; and Grant Assistance Program for annual support of multiple projects.
Key responsibilities include assisting with content updates within GrantFinder to ensure grant listings and resources remain current, accurate, and relevant. The role will also help troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with internal teams for resolution, and contribute to platform testing and documentation efforts. Additionally, the role will support GrantFinder account elevations and set-up and participate in system quality assurance (QA) activities.
This position will play a collaborative role in supporting the grant division’s marketing initiatives by helping prepare platform-related materials, maintaining branded content, and contributing to outreach campaigns. Strong attention to detail and an understanding of audience needs will be essential for maintaining consistency and accuracy across channels.
This role aids in generating usage reports, tracking grant trends, and performing basic funding analysis to guide product and content strategy. The ability to interpret data and provide insights ensures the GrantFinder platform meets user needs and supports the grant division's objectives.
Reporting to the Grant Platform Manager, this position collaborates with product, marketing, and customer support teams to maintain smooth operations and enhance the GrantFinder platform.
Our GrantFinder tool is the main source of information on grants for Lexipol, the Grants Team, and most importantly, our customers. Grant Platform Analyst responsibilities include:
Platform & Content Support
Assist with the review, formatting, and publishing of grant listings and resources in GrantFinder
Regularly audit content for accuracy, consistency, and relevance
Update grant categories, tags, and metadata as directed by the Grant Platform Manager
Support platform testing during new releases or feature rollouts
Document content workflows and contribute to process improvements
Technical & Operational Support
Troubleshoot and triage user-reported issues with the GrantFinder platform
Support GrantFinder account elevations and set-up
Coordinate with internal technical teams or vendors to support issue resolution
Track and log platform bugs or enhancement requests
Assist in developing and maintaining internal documentation for system functionality
Marketing & Communication Support
Collaborate with the Marketing team to support campaigns promoting GrantFinder or related services
Maintain and update marketing collateral and branded materials related to the platform
Provide copy and content support for platform announcements, newsletters, and product updates
Support the distribution of marketing assets to relevant internal or external partners
Reporting & Data Analysis
Generate platform usage reports (e.g., logins, searches, alert activity)
Monitor trends in user engagement and grant activity across sectors
Assist with monthly or quarterly reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct basic analysis of grant funding trends to support strategy development
System & Technology Familiarization
Learn and maintain working knowledge of all systems and technology platforms used within the grant division (e.g., CMS tools, CRM systems, analytics dashboards, project management platforms)
Stay up to date on platform updates and how they impact day-to-day workflows
Participate in training sessions or system onboarding as new tools are adopted
Support process documentation and system usage best practices
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
2-5 years working in a professional local government or nonprofit setting
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with grants or content in a local government or nonprofit setting
Familiarity with local government administrative best practices
Experience working with various CRM databases
Target Results
Complete all assigned tasks or projects on time with status updates provided regularly and clearly
Actively participate in team meetings, project planning sessions, and knowledge-sharing opportunities
Serve as a reliable internal resource on systems use
Track and maintain records of all grant funding awarded to support products within the division monthly, quarterly and ongoing
KPI’s
100% of monthly usage reports and quarterly trend reports delivered on schedule.
Generate monthly usage and activity reports for the Grant Platform Manager with less than 1% data discrepancy
Maintain an average internal stakeholder satisfaction score of 8+/10 on collaboration and responsiveness.
Demonstrate proficiency in all grant division platforms and tools within the first 90 days of onboarding
85% of user-reported platform issues triaged within 1 business day; resolved within 5 business days.
100% of usage reports, funding analysis and trend reports delivered on schedule.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.
The base compensation starts from $70K + Annual Bonus
