Lexipol Media Group - Staying on top of evolving issues in public safety and local government requires having a trusted source of news and analysis. For more than 20 years, Lexipol’s industry news sites—Police1FireRescue1EMS1Corrections1 and Gov1—have provided public safety and local government professionals a destination to exchange information and research solutions for the biggest challenges facing their agencies.


The Work
The Lexipol Media Group's Revenue Team works with companies targeting the public safety sector to help them market their products and services to first responders. Our customers provide public safety agencies and their members with the tools they need to keep their communities and themselves safe and thriving.


The Sales Enablement Manager - LMG will partner with key Lexipol and Lexipol Media Group (LMG) stakeholders to identify and execute high-priority initiatives that facilitate client engagement and revenue growth. Serve as the bridge between sales, marketing, product, and customer success. Ensure alignment on messaging, product knowledge, and go-to-market strategies. Facilitate communication loops to bring feedback from sales into product/marketing. Prepare sales teams for new product launches, market changes, and competitive shifts. 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing or sales enablement manager with the ability to clearly and positively communicate with sales reps and other key stakeholders on the revenue generation team. The ideal candidate will also have experience in digital advertising. This role is an active participant in conversations & communications with partners.
This is done through working in these areas of focus:

Sales Enablement (50%)
  • Work with LMG Media Product Management to create product training
  • Serve as liaison with LMG audience development, Product, content, sales, ad operations,
  • Maintain & ensure Naviga CRM is updated.
  • Coordinate new LMG sales rep onboarding
  • Develop and manage onboarding programs for new LMG sales hires. 
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure LMG skills stay sharp and aligned with evolving products or markets. 
  • Identify bottlenecks in the LMG sales process and implement improvements. 

Marketing (20%)
  • LMG MarCom Collateral Creation: Create, organize, and maintain sales collateral, prepare media sales decks, presentations, case studies, playbooks, one-sheets, quick-reference guides, & other sales collateral (created with Canva)
  • LMG Demand Generation
  • LMG Outbound Marketing: Build pipeline of leads for sales team utilizing outbound email 
  • Project Managing creation of website for LMG, built in WordPress 
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales tools (e.g., CRM, CMS, sales engagement platforms). Train reps on how to effectively use these tools. 
  • Use data to refine strategies and prioritize initiatives. 
  • Track enablement program effectiveness (e.g., ramp time, quota attainment), using data to refine strategies and prioritizing initiatives. 
Partnership Support (25%)
  • Coordinate with Partnership leadership on coordinating deliverables
  • Collaborate with LMG Customer Success to ensure timeliness & effectiveness of partnership programs
  • Build out marketing & advertising schedules for LMG partners

Third Party Resource Management (5%)
  • Manage outsourced project resources

Target Outcomes/ Target Results
  • Identify LMG client engagement improvements, ensuring sales and CSM teams’ ability to maximize sales and service to our core client base.
  • Provide the tools, insight, and training to expand LMG sales efforts into key non-endemic product categories.
    • Synthesize media research findings and help craft messaging for non-endemic pitches.
  • Review, update, and develop new LMG sales and customer success support materials, including custom presentation decks, sell sheets, and media kits, to support revenue initiatives.
    • Provide sales collateral that clearly states an attractive value proposition for companies targeting public safety professionals.
    • Provide and improve customer success collateral enabling CSMs to demonstrate the effectiveness of clients’ programs throughout the campaign's lifecycle.
    • Create and maintain a client-facing repository of examples for all published products (on all LMG brands), including Editorial and Brand Studio products to be used by sales and CSMs during client conversations. (Examples: Topic Sponsorship page, Infographic, Site Skin Banner, etc.)
    • Develop ongoing training for LMG sales and CSM teams. This must include training on consistent messaging and proficient use of collateral.
    • Confirm sales and CSM teams are using approved customer-facing marketing and support material.
    • Work with LMG VP, Revenue to verify talk tracks are consistent, concise, and solutions oriented.
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing team to complete LMG marketing projects on schedule. 
  • Own annual LMG media kit production process
    • Coordinate with the editorial and sales teams to develop effective, sales-focused editorial calendars.
    • Verify all data and information in media kits is accurate and consistent.
    • Work with in-house marketing to update design elements and information presented in media kits.
    • Deliver media kit by deadline.
  • Coordinate and execute outbound LMG marketing programs targeting Media clients and prospects.
  • Create and maintain effective Media promo lists.
  • Build strong relationships with the LMG’s sales and customer success teams, and serve as a trusted liaison between sales, customer success, ad operations, product, marketing, and content teams.
  • Provide insight to LMG stakeholders regarding our customers’ challenges and pain points, the buyer’s journey, and recommendations for strategy implementation based on experience in sales, marketing, and public safety, where applicable.


Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:
  • Combined 7 years’ experience in MarCom and/or Sales Enablement experience
  • Experience in online publishing or magazine publishing is required for consideration.
  • Marketing experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Skilled at collaborating with multiple stakeholders and departments with the focus on collectively driving revenue.
  • Represent the sales perspective in conversations and meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Foundational understanding of digital media / digital publishing
  • Experience creating content and go to market materials in support of the sales effort
  • Well-developed customer-facing skills
  • Ability to manage projects and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Knowledge & experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design skills are a definite plus

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/work experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience working in sales, marketing, and/or sales enablement.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Design experience utilizing various design platforms (Canva, Adobe Suite, WordPress).
  • Direct experience with email marketing platforms
  • Experience writing and designing impactful, effective marketing collateral.
  • History of demonstrating the presence and confidence to manage to target timelines and inspire timely collaboration to complete projects on schedule.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

This role has a base salary ranging from $75-90k based on experience, with opportunity for bonus
