The Work 
Lexipol’s Grants Sales Team helps public safety agencies and local governments access critical funding through our innovative grant solutions. The team works closely with agencies to identify funding opportunities and provide the right tools—such as GrantFinder, GrantWriter, and GrantManager to help communities secure financial resources that drive safety and service improvements. 
 
As a Senior Account Executive, Grants you will manage a defined state or territory, driving revenue by identifying new opportunities, managing customer relationships, and presenting Lexipol’s grant solutions to decision makers in public safety and local government. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, helping agencies navigate the grant process and align their needs with Lexipol’s products and services to achieve measurable funding success. 
 
This is done through working in these areas of focus: 
 
Achieve and Exceed Territory Revenue Targets (50%) 

  • Own and deliver on state or territory-level revenue goals through new business and renewals. 
  • Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans to ensure consistent revenue achievement. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with public safety and government agencies. 
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through presentation, negotiation, and close. 
  • Effectively position Lexipol’s grant solutions and communicate value tailored to customer needs. 
  • Collaborate with internal partners to align territory strategy with broader organizational objectives. 
 
Daily and Weekly Sales Execution (50%) 
  • Conduct ongoing prospecting and lead generation activities to expand the territory pipeline. 
  • Present Lexipol’s grant products virtually and in person to public safety leaders and government decision makers. 
  • Consistently follow Lexipol’s communication cadence to engage prospective agencies and maintain pipeline velocity. 
  • Maintain daily CRM accuracy by logging all customer interactions, activity notes, and pipeline updates in Salesforce. 
  • Qualify prospects efficiently, ensuring alignment between customer needs and available solutions. 
  • Provide continuous value throughout the sales process and nurture long-term relationships. 
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Grants teams to ensure a seamless handoff and continued client satisfaction post-sale. 
 
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience: 
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS, government, or public safety-related industry. 
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed annual revenue targets. 
  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling. 
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently—from prospecting to close. 
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system for territory and pipeline management. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of results. 
 
Preferred Experience: 
  • Experience selling to public safety agencies, local government, or nonprofit organizations. 
  • Familiarity with grants or funding processes. 
  • Demonstrated success selling subscription or recurring revenue solutions. 
  • Strong territory planning and forecasting capabilities. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Maintain accurate and timely pipeline reporting within Salesforce. 
  • Meet or exceed defined activity metrics, including outbound contacts and presentations. 
  • Ensure a high conversion rate from demo to closed opportunity. 
  • Maintain strong client relationships that support renewals and upsell opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits 
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Base salary for this role is $69,216 plus commission.
